My Speech

Title: Gaming is good for you

Who likes to play games? Gaming is a fun, cool and phenomenal experience.

Games are unpredictable because different games have different stories and ways to play. With story games, you may or may not know what to do at some point and want to give up, but playing them makes you persistence and develop resilience by working hard to earn rewards.

So for an example, you are looking for your next destination to get a reward and while you are looking you come across some obstacles to make you work harder for the reward.  Some obstacles will be easy and some will be hard and that's again there to make you work hard so you develop better resilience and persistence.

Some people say games rot children's brain but according to Google (yes I used Google), some scientists say gaming is not bad for you. Instead, it helps your brain and improves your problem solving, brain function, memory, social skills and exercises your fingers.

You can play and catch up with your friends in an online game. There are a lot of games and each one has a different type like RPG (role-playing games), adventures, RTS (Real-Time Strategy), puzzles and educational.

Gaming gives you an opportunity to make new friends and cooperate with them. It teaches you to work together and helps increase your ability of TEAMWORK.

You have now heard my reasons why gaming is good for you. It makes you more resilient, develops problem-solving strategies and helps you become more social by working as part of a team.

My name Is Tuki and this is my speech.
